He publishes: "A negativistic criticism to Bleuler's theory on schizophrenia","The significance of numerical dreams", in collaboration with M.Prince:"," Mechanisms and interpretation of dreams: a critical review","Symbols of transformation", first part.

1912:

His dreams drive him to an inner awakening.

He publishes: "Concerning Psychoanalysis","Symbols of transformation"(second part),"New inroads in Psychology".

1913:

Trip to Italy (Ravenna)

Rupture with S. Freud and the psychoanalytical movement.

He resigns from his position at the University of Zürich.

He publishes: "The theory of Psychoanalysis","General aapects of Psychoanalysis".

1914:

He resigned from the presidency of the International Congress of Psychoanalysis.

First World War. In July of this year he gives a conference at the British Association in Aberdeen, Scotland.

He publishes:"The importance of the unconscious in Psychopathology","Some crucial points in Psychoanalysis".

1915:

He consitnues his studies on Mythology and onirical processes.

1916:

He publishes:"Psychoanalysis and Neurosis", Preface to"Selected works in Analytical Psychology","The structure of the Unconscious","The Transcendent Function","General aspects of dreams in Psychology". Conference in Paris on "The relations between the Self and the Unconscious".

He reencounters Helly Preiswerg in Paris.

The Psychological Club is created in Zürich.

1917:

Second preface to "Selected works in Analytical Psychology".

On the Psychology of the Unconscious. First Part"Two essays in Analytical Psychology".

1918:

Recognition of the Selbst as a goal to psychic development.

He publishes: "The role of the Unconscious" . He graduates a Captain and is Commandant de la Région Anglaise des Internés de Guerre, in Château d'Oex. Studies on Mandala. He begins studies on Gnosticism.

1919:

End of the Great War.

He publishes: "Instinct and Unconscious".

Trip to Algeria and Tunisia.

He publishes: "The psychological basis of the belief in spirits".

He publishes:"Psychological types","The therapeutic value of the Abreaction method".

He buys a property in Böllingen, San Gall Canton.

He publishes: "On the relationship between Analytical Psychology and Poetry".

1923:

Death of his mother, Emilie Preiswerk Jung.

He begins to work in "The Tower" of Böllingen.

1924:

Visit to the Pueblo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. He initiates a long-lasting friendship with Lake Mountain (Ochiwiai Biano in the original language or Antonio Mirabal in Spanish), Chief of the Pueblo Indians.

1925:

Visit to the Wembley Exhibition. In Zürich he dictates his first seminar in English.

Safari to Kenya, Mount Elgon and the Nile,(1925-6).

He publishes:"<Matrimony as a psychological relationship".

1926:

He returns to Africa via Egypt.

He publishes: "The structure of the Psyche","Mind and matter","The woman in Europe".

He collaborates with Wilheim in chinese texts. Illuminations concerning mandalian symbolisms and Alchemy.

He publishes:"The relationships between the Ego and the Unconscious"(part 11 of two essays on Analytical Psychology),"OnPsychic Energy","Analytical Psychology and weltanschauung","The spiritual problems of modern man","The problem of love as a student","Swiss way in the european spectrum","Psychoanalysis and the cure of souls","Child development and Education","The importance of the unconscious in individual education".

He is appointed vicepresident of the Medical General Society for the study of Psychotherapy.
